During the COVID-19 pandemic, we designed this outdoor classroom. Combining fresh air with education during a health crisis is not only a new concept; The open-air schoolrooms can increase students’ concentration, bolster engagement, and reduce stress.

Sensory Garden – Bord na Mona

This amazing project we constructed at Bord no Mona – Mountlucas Wind Farm. It was carefully designed to engage the senses of sight, smell, touch, taste, and sound. This garden enhances controlled movements that require critical thinking and deep concentration, while also inviting the visitors to engage with various sensory panels, or trigger the sounds themselves. The garden appeal especially to children with special needs and adults with dementia, while also providing the whole family with an opportunity to be outdoors and physically active.
